When people ask me, "What do you do?"
I answer, "I lead courses and workshops in photography and image editing."
Photography, did I say? That's just scratching the surface...
To be a photographer means to be a technician, a sander, a carpenter,
a mountain climber, an installer, a gardener, and also... a photographer.
If you want an accelerated course in operating a jigsaw, connecting anchors,
pruning stems and branches... I'm the place (:
And if I initially thought that photography is just about a camera,
I quickly realized I was wrong,
because to create amazing, diverse, and creative photos,
we need inspiration, adoption, and initiative!
Chemi, my partner in the array of my equipment,
is the one who brings to life all my vivid imagination.
Sometimes it's a bench, and sometimes it's a scaffold.
Sometimes it's a crate, and sometimes it's a shelf.
It has to be a type of wood like this or that,
and there's no way we're missing that
because the type of wood sets the tone,
and the search journey begins, like a marathon...
But this time, I came to him with an extravagant imagination
of a stunning, natural, and, of course, authentic owl.
I wanted it to be different and special,
an impressive owl, natural, and, of course, realistic.

Indeed, Chemi began the task—sketching, cutting, and constructing. However, quite early on, he took on a massive project at work, forcing him to halt the construction.
This is where I stepped in to take initiative and responsibility. I knew that if I didn't take on the project of building the owl on my own, this production would be postponed for another month (beyond the already delayed three months, true!).
So, first, I took the project, and then what did I do?
I went to the hardware store and bought: a saw, a square, a package of nails, and also an angle. Additionally, I picked up other items that I needed for the ongoing construction of the owl.
The truth? It was challenging!
Now, cameras and lenses disappeared from the background, and all you could see on the horizon were drills, nails, and screwdrivers...
With the grace of God, the owl was slowly taking shape. And when birds started circling above me in loops, I understood that I had finally achieved a good result and that we were almost done...
Well, this is just the beginning (:

This time, I captured a small and adorable girl bursting with energy and joy.
The location was enchanting and breathtaking, with thick woods and flowing water.
However, there was one problem—the lighting there changed every minute, making it challenging until she settled in a spot with a camera just as the sun escaped to the other corner.
But in addition to the sun, I have a tiny girl here who doesn't care about the impending sunset. She throws her hat, rolls with laughter, and bites into a green apple (and it's not just a bead—this sweetie really nibbles on it with gusto).
It looked like this:
"In a thick and charming forest, next to a babbling stream and a nest with eggs, there's a small and beautiful girl laughing in front of a sunset panorama. She takes a bite of an apple in the open air and wraps herself in a scarf when the wind comes."

Admit it, this sounds like a tale from some magical legend, but I had to find a solution in no time.
I know I invested a lot in this production, and the weather forecast only hinted at snow on Mount Hermon. And if there's a pleasant day with the sun rising and warmth, you have to make the most of it for the photoshoot.
So, I knew the best way to capture amazing pictures was simply to get into the minds of the kids, you know?
Instead of being disappointed by her bites into a green apple, I said, "Let's see if you can hide it really deep."
Instead of rushing to fix her hat every second, I diverted her attention with a story about a lost bunny.
Because with the amazing innocence of children, you can truly create magic. She was so captivated and genuinely felt pity for the bunny.
And indeed, thank goodness, it worked! It was just a lovely day, filled with a great atmosphere and the sounds of chirping birds (:

Of course, the most fun part is the moment you sit down with Photoshop and decide where to guide the character and style of your image. It's magical to add charm and create a unique atmosphere.
Every time, I enjoy seeing how with just one click, you can take the photo in different directions and to other places.
Honestly, in these photos, the main editing was more on the basics. I focused mainly on touch-ups and the character—there was plenty to work on! Then, I made sure to give the photo a pleasant and dreamy look with a touch of magic, and I took the colors in a very natural, warm, and gentle direction.
By the way, an important note: sometimes, people rush through the basics and underestimate them, wanting to quickly move on to the magical blend and atmosphere. But that's a serious mistake! It's like a professional makeup artist applying blush, eyeshadow, and lipstick without a base. The base is no less important, and maybe even more, and if you skip it, you can see the difference!
So, I don't think there's a need to elaborate—just visit the website. I uploaded a variety of new photos before and after editing from this production and previous ones, so you can view them side by side and see the changes I made that gave them a particularly dreamy and magical look.

And how can we not document this amazing production?
So, let's get some energy because this video will boost your spirits (:
