The concept for this production was inspired by a recent situation I encountered. I wanted to create images with a calm atmosphere, capturing the close bond between brother and sister in everyday life during good times and those magical moments when the sun sets, giving way to the dreams of the night.
In simple terms, I aimed to document the meeting point during twilight.
I planned this production 10 months in advance, purchased the clothes 5 months prior, and finalized arrangements with the models 8 months beforehand.
However, for some reason, the production kept getting postponed. The first time, we planned to meet immediately after the holidays, but then we rescheduled the shoot for when the rain stopped. Finally, when the rain ceased, we realized the sunset was too early, and the kids were still in their educational institutions.
This pattern continued repeatedly, and I never found the time to sit back and have a coffee, as it was a busy period with website upgrades and the creation of new courses.
Yet, this production remained on my mind and wouldn't go away. Until...
I simply decided that it was time. The holidays were over, the rain had stopped,
the sunset was late enough, and the kids were not bound by their schedules.
So, I prepared, arranged, ironed, and charged everything. When everything was finally ready, I stepped out.
But, let's not skip to the end; instead, let's go a few steps back and I'll share with you the entire planning process of this dream production.

So, as I mentioned, it was important for me to create a serene atmosphere, a calm and pastoral ambiance. Therefore, the chosen styling was characterized by softness, delicacy, comfortable and pleasant colors. I avoided bold colors that might distract from the overall tone of the image.
The clothing style also conveyed a sense of liberation, openness, and flow, avoiding tight and fitted styles. Everything needed to be carefully planned down to the smallest details to allow the viewer to feel the message and understand the story without words – to see, feel, and experience.
Choosing the right location was crucial to match the desired atmosphere. I explored 11 different villages, street by street, alley by alley, looking for the perfect setting that matched my imagination – and, as you already know, my imagination tends to be quite elaborate.
On the first day, I didn't find the right location. The second day was no different, and on the third day, I found a place that seemed promising but didn't fully satisfy me. It lacked that special something.
Then, on the fourth day, after exploring all the small villages that had been passed down through generations, a suitable location was finally found. Not exactly what I had imagined, but with a bit of Photoshop, I fixed it up – touched up here, added there – and voila! Every villager dreams of such a dream house.
Finally, I closed this chapter.
Now, I started thinking about how I truly wanted to appear in this production. What was the precise story I wanted to tell?
Then, like a dream, the idea of making a large, impressive cinnamon roll came to me, full of fresh scents. After working, kneading, spreading, and baking, the enticing aromas began to spread throughout the house. I debated whether to finish the story here and simply enjoy it myself or overcome the temptation and leave this pleasure for a magical production that would undoubtedly broadcast the appropriate atmosphere with the sweet, nostalgic scent of cinnamon.
The second option prevailed.

So, loaded with accessories and fresh cinnamon rolls, I set out on the paths between the villages. We agreed to meet at 3:00 PM – myself, Sarah, the most practical assistant during shoots, Shiri, and Wingertan, the powerhouse video photographer, along with the beautiful kids.
I sat and waited, and waited, and sat. Stood up, sat down, stood up again. Walked around, made calls, and searched.
But there was no sign of any car on the horizon.
By 3:45 PM, then five to four, and the clock, as usual, remained relentless, ticking away and advancing. When you don't want it to, time tends to threaten.
It was already 4:20 PM, with sunset at 5:00 PM!
What to do?
It's not just another day of shooting! It's a production, with a video photographer, a drone, and countless accessories. Ten months of planning and hours upon hours of searching.
Finally, at 4:45 PM!!! I see a car in the distance, raising a dazzling dust cloud along the trail.
It turned out there was a delay on the way, and there was no choice but to start hustling – a whole production squeezed into the remaining 15 seconds!
So, Shiri, Sarah, and I, cinched our waists and hit the road. We dressed, combed, shoed, socked, and groomed the kids within moments!
Shiri to the video, Sarah to the back, and I to the front. Tap, tap, tap. Another shot, change places, stand, look at each other, and laugh. No time to fall or scratch our heads, just run, tap, shoot, and try to capture as much as possible!
Honestly, it was amazing! All the beauty and magic of two hours condensed into just a few minutes. All the sweetness, tranquility, and pastoral scenes remained, but in a concentrated dose.
It was an extraordinary atmosphere on such a perfect day with excellent weather! In the magical moments of changing guards in the sky, between the disappearing golden egg and the arriving moonlight.
Precisely at that meeting point, we seized the opportunity and captured it.
Two beautiful children sitting on the sidewalk, engrossed in their own world – talking, nibbling on fragrant pastries, and laughing.
The pressure around them, and the clock beside them – totally irrelevant! They were in their own bubble, enjoying as if there were no impending photo shoot. Life was beautiful, the skies were blue, and everyone was already in their own dreamland.
So, what does it all matter?
Two hours or 15 seconds of shooting?
The main thing is that tonight, we will all go to sleep with sweet and magical dreams...

So, this is it, my story, and this is their legend.
This is from my perspective, and that was their experience.
Everyone goes through the story differently.
There's the photographer, and there's the stylist.
Some carry the responsibility, while others just enjoy.
But looking back, I admit it was an extraordinary production.
Filled with enchantment, nostalgia, and a touch of legend!
So, I invite you to watch the amazing behind-the-scenes documentary.
It, in itself, is a magical creation, a blend of professionalism, and the initiative of the champion, Shiri Wingert.

And if we haven't touched on the editing matter yet,
I don't need to tell you that, for me, it's simply an experience.
Those minutes when you navigate with creativity and imagination,
fix, brush, add an atmosphere, and create new things.
What to do? It all depends on the mercy of time.
You might ask, arriving home somewhat confused.
On the one hand, it was a stunning experience!
Beautiful kids and a really well-planned production!
The timing of those magical moments in the twilight minutes,
with perfect and meticulous styling from head to toe,
made me feel wonderful.
But on the other hand,
what can you really accomplish in just a few minutes of shooting?
You don't have time to concentrate, review the photos,
and make sure everything is happening exactly according to the plan.
It's a confusing, pressuring, and even a bit frustrating feeling.
Maybe I returned with nothing, just tired and exhausted?
But then I said to myself - it will be what it will be.
The photos have to convey these magical moments!
True, technically, time was limited,
but that's reality, and that's what we have.
Now, Photoshop's role is starting to kick in.
We take the picture from the camera,
start with the girl and brush,
continue and add sharpening,
and other techniques that can only be done in post-processing!
We get to the mood. Add a bit of magic here, a bit more drama there.
Sharpen the gaze, emphasize the emotion.
Allow the night to begin and the lights in the houses around to shine.
Now, after a professional and careful post-processing,
thinking about the small details, applying each technique carefully,
not just another mix of uncontrolled, tasteless colors.
It's time to say that I came out full of satisfaction, joy, and happiness!
Thankfully, it wasn't a production in vain.
Because after the right and precise processing that boosted the photos,
I too could now spread into a dreamy night...
