So, this is how it all began:

I woke up in the morning and decided that I must create a new production right away! Without prior preparation and without any pre-planning, but I knew that if I want to capture spring, it has to be done as soon as possible.

Alright, I realized it a bit late, but better late than never.

Usually, before any production, I plan in advance where I'm going, choose a suitable styling, build accessories (or send a request to my talented friends :)), decide in advance what the characters will be like, what ages they will be, and more.

This time, as soon as I woke up with this idea, I knew there wasn't much time, so I told my husband, "We need to go now to find a field of flowers before it's too late."

My husband is already used to me waking him up with dreams about magical locations, so this time I started with the basics: Where can we find a field of flowers?

So, I checked around, made some calls, and finally had a few options. We got into the car (not before taking my kids with me this time because I knew if they didn't come with me now, at least for the search, then who knows when I'd manage to convince them later).

To be honest, I dreamt of a natural wildflower field, not one with neat rows that someone planted. Something more untamed and undefined—I believe you already know me.

I saw pictures of such a field really close to home, just a 10-minute drive away. Of course, I started from there, but unfortunately, I couldn't find it. Maybe the blossoms there didn't wait for me to wake up from my dream.

So, from there, I moved on to the next location—a field of sunflowers. Although it's much farther from home and consists of neat rows of flowers rather than being wild, it's better than nothing. When I arrived at the place, it's hard to say I remained indifferent to this beauty, but there was one central issue—the lighting! It was exactly in the opposite direction. I had to give up.

Moving forward, continuing the search...

The next destination wasn't far from there (though still far from home). It was also a field of sunflowers (rows and rows), but much more massive and with excellent lighting. I settled.

In the end, I was fortunate. A day before the shoot, they sent me a picture of an amazing and truly enchanting place, with giant spreads and almost endless wildflowers. And where was this? A 7-minute drive from home! Beyond all my dreams :)

Moreover, the day after the shoot, everything was gone! All the beauty was short-lived...

Okay, so the location is set. But what about the model?

Thankfully, it was less challenging, and I already had a few options in mind. So, this aspect was also taken care of.

So, the issue was with the clothes.

I have a lot of clothes that I buy for productions and use them occasionally, but I had fewer lightweight and spring-like clothes in stock. Ordering in advance wasn't an option; there's no time! The bloom won't wait for me too long.

So, I managed with what I had. Of course, I would have preferred to order something planned in advance, but have you heard about the concept "no time"?

But, you know what the big problem was? The significant problem was deciding the night before the shoot that there was no way I could take photos with red flowers without a dress in a shade of blue—the combination is just wow!

Well, it's true, that combination is really wow, but a blue dress was out of the question, of course not the night before.

But it's no secret that in the end, I shot with a blue dress—you can already see that in the pictures.

So how? To turn it blue afterward in Photoshop wasn't an issue. The problem was in the video—I wanted that amazing combination to appear in the behind-the-scenes video as well, and in a video, it's less simple to execute.

So, how did I have a blue dress after all?

I have a creative and winning recipe for you! I had a white dress that I absolutely had to turn blue somehow—painting it with gouache was obviously impossible!

So, I just went to the craft store, bought blue crayons for 7 shekels in the shade I wanted, went home, took a bowl, filled it with hot water, put in three crayons, two eggs, and three sugar spoons (not really, though, right? :)

I only put the crayons so that all the ink came off them and colored the water. Now that I had blue water, I could put the dress in, wait a bit for it to absorb the color, and simply get an amazing blue dress exactly as I dreamed!

I'm thinking of adopting this idea!

One more thing, and it's no less important!

I had to get a videographer right away. Thank goodness, I found an excellent one, and here's what she captured—a fantastic glimpse behind the scenes...

From the moment we arrived at the location, I knew this time it surpassed all imagination!

We stepped into a magical and breathtaking world! A beautiful sunset, a gentle breeze caressing our faces, and the sweet scent of flowers in the air.

It was simply incredible! Vast expanses covered in endless red flower carpets. I didn't know if it was reality or if I was still dreaming, feeling like I stepped into an illustrated fairy tale...

All of this with two beautiful girls hopping and laughing around, offering their hands and running.

The hot air balloon, of course, rose into the sky, and then our breath was taken away by the rare beauty.

Gorgeous butterflies flew around us, especially a white one that just sat on a flower and watched us!

No need to elaborate; watch the video, look at the photos—they will immerse you in the atmosphere. All that's left for me to wish for is a joyful and delightful spring!
