"This time, we sailed far away...
We crossed mountains, traversed swamps, forests, and villages until we reached this marvelous and magical valley...
Since my childhood, I dreamt of meeting people who live in remote places around the world, in forests, villages, mountain peaks, and jungles – people living in tribes and communities detached from the surrounding world...
Interesting, isn't it?
How do their lives unfold? What do they eat? How do babies survive in the face of threatening animals or in the cold of the wilderness?
Have you ever thought that they don't have schools? That they don't go to the grocery store to buy food...
As a little girl, these thoughts fascinated me, and I always dreamed that one day I would wander the world and encounter them (:
Today, I understand that it's not really practical (especially not during a pandemic), so I decided that instead of traveling and navigating such distances myself, maybe it's better to bring them here...
I thought and existed!
It all started with an endless search for inspiration. I went through hundreds of pictures depicting life in these places..."

Then, I moved on to the part where styling needs to be decided – honestly, it was a bit challenging when you see a ready picture of children in jungles, villages, and mountains; you don't pay much attention to their clothing. But when you start thinking about it seriously, you realize that their clothing style is far from the Eastern or Western fashion styles we are familiar with...
So yes, it took some time to get used to, to connect, and precisely understand what each is wearing, but eventually, I arrived at a specific attire that I am going to sew, God willing.
And then... wow... the tent!! Hours upon hours of endless work to build a tent that would match their lifestyle. I wanted a unique, interesting, and colorful tent that would reflect their way of life. Most importantly, it should be as far away from the typical tents we see today...
So, of course, we drive "forward, we're on the move."
"Where to?"
"To collect branches." No one asks why or what for anymore because they already know that my ideas don't run out too quickly.
So, we head to the forest to collect branches (me, my husband, and the kids).
"That branch is too thin." "This one is too short."
"I need it to be both long, not too thick, and not too thin. Oh... and I forgot, it should be dry..."
Finally, after the entire car is packed with branches from every possible angle (of course, the trunk is not closed, and from every open window, leaves that flew in the wind and inquisitive animals who don't understand their fate are visible)...
Okay, the trip went smoothly, now let's start building!
Wait a moment! Before that, let's sort the branches... this one is for pressure, this is for the arch, this is for the central pole, and this is for the tent...
Alright, now we finally start!
Wait! Before that! Let's count the branches...
Okay, now we start for real! Wait! Before that! Let's count the branches...
Okay, now we start for real!
We stand the branches; of course, it falls on my nose from here, and the other one falls on my head from there...
But finally, we start to see a framework for the tent."
Awesome! The tent is ready! The rest of the gear is also waiting to head to the forest...
So, get organized and wander far, far away...
"Of course, this time too, we didn't give up on the rare and so interesting behind-the-scenes documentation. We tried to capture as much as possible of this amazing production, yet at the same time, do it in the most natural and less noticeable way possible. This is to allow the children to feel the most liberated, to give them the opportunity to laugh, play, run, and splash around... Enjoy watching (:"
