"I knew I was in for a treat when I met these gorgeous twin girls!
Two amazing and beautiful kids who truly love each other, a real bond.
Throughout the photo shoot, I couldn't help but be captivated by their personalities and interactions, one towards the other.
When the first one kisses the second, the second responds with a hug. When the second arranges the ponytail, the first straightens the bow. When one runs, her twin follows in her footsteps...
And, of course, I'm right there following both of them :)
Now, they find themselves in the French Alps, probably conquering the mountains with strong hugs or contagious laughter.
Although we're miles apart, I'm sure the pictures in front of you will capture the special atmosphere. Despite the distance, I'm confident that these photos will convey the joy and magic we experienced in this amazing session..."

"Obviously, a production with twins is more complex than any other production—after all, they're twins!
It's not a brother and sister, not two models, and not even two sisters; they're simply twins!
And what does that mean?
Let's start with the fact that everything I need to buy, I have to buy twice. But that's the easy part.
I just sat down with myself and started thinking about what would truly suit them. What style would convey the message I want to deliver? Should I go for identical dresses or complementary styling? Would lighter or darker colors flatter them more? What shoe size are they? And what about their hair?
So, I finished with the styling, made the purchases, and ordered everything needed (not as quick as it sounds, but as I said, it's the easy part).
I planned the session, coordinated accessories, and even threw in some small talk. But with all due respect to the long list we covered, what about locations? Where do we shoot?
And here begins the hard and complicated part...
And why?
Because every place I went to looked exactly like the previous one. Despite being in a forest, by a stream, in a grove, or facing a sunset, everything was dry, yellow, lacking in flowers, and without any special charm that's worth the effort and investment. In one word: summer."

To be honest, I almost gave up. I was considering postponing the shoots to autumn, when everything becomes much more interesting even without special effort...
While it's possible to disguise a dull location with interesting accessories, there's a limit to how many accessories you can squeeze into one session! A truly professional photo is one where the subject tells the story, and the location sets the atmosphere. Of course, complementary accessories elevate the narrative, but they can't become the focal point of the image!
So, it was clear to me that an overload of accessories wasn't the ideal solution. But I had to think of something that would give the 'wow' factor to the picture and solve the background problem."

"And to ensure that every picture is interesting and tells its own story, with each session having its own stage...
What conclusion did I come to?
If the summer is dry, I'll add life to it, and if the background is boring, I'll inject drama into it. In other words, with the right and professional editing, anything is possible. I constantly teach editing, give lectures in photography seminars and schools, conduct workshops on the subject, and demonstrate the amazing effects and wonders that can be created in Photoshop.
So why, when I encounter difficulty creating harmony in a photo, don't I use this wonderful program myself?
That's exactly what I did.
I planted some clouds and added drama, darkened here and illuminated there, added a touch of warmth to the photos, and intensified the atmosphere. I tweaked here and corrected there...
Until, thank God, I managed to create a mythical photo full of inspiration that conveys the message most accurately!
Of course, summer remains summer because each season has its beauty. But I took every picture in different directions and styles..."

"Even from one location with identical outfits and exactly the same accessories, it was possible to create two styles of edits. Honestly, I haven't decided yet which of them is the more beautiful edit. So, I'll leave that to you to decide which one you find more beautiful..."
אI can say that with every image I opened, I had a direction in mind for editing, but with just one picture, I got stuck. I tried various editing styles, corrected, sharpened, retouched, and whatnot, but I didn't reach the perfect image. Honestly, each edit on its own looked beautiful, but I didn't feel I had extracted the maximum potential.
After many attempts, thankfully, I arrived at the much-desired image...
I won't reveal it now; I'll save it for part two of the post. In the meantime, I'll tell you that for the closed photographer group, I sent them the original photo before editing and asked them to process it according to their preferences and as they see fit!
I wrote to them: "Be creative, think outside the box; there are no limitations! But here's your task: send me by email the most perfect and amazing version of the image!"
This is the image I sent to them:

What did they do with the picture? How did they edit it?
You can read all about it in the next post!
